Hire Mike

Over the course of my career, I have developed a solid blend of leadership, operations, process improvement, sales, and marketing skills. I have combined those with an obsession for the customer, an understanding of technology from the client’s perspective and an ability to make tough decisions. I am a lifelong learner who loves continuous improvement and thrives on competition.

Professional Goals

I am HEAVILY customer focused (service and experience) and like to work with firms that believe in the same (not just say they do). I need a challenging and rewarding environment that is both cooperative and transparent. I excel in situations that have a strong strategic vision and a planning structure in place that sets realistic goals and achieves them.

I love and THRIVE in startups, turnarounds and/or explosive growth situations. I am passionate about leading and mentoring people/teams and solving complex business problems with a specialty in operations process redesign. (I will fix what is broken.)

I am an operations guy at heart. While I prefer an overall operational role, I am very comfortable in the following functional areas: general management, sales, marketing, account management, strategic account management, IT, project management, technical support, help desk, and client services.

Areas of Expertise

Strategic Leadership Relationship Builder Analytical Problem Solver
Process Effectiveness Change Agent Technology
Talent Development Turnarounds/Startups Business Development
Lifelong Learner Quality Focused Profit Generation

Transition Path

There has been a common thread of intense focus on customer service/experience throughout my career. I started my professional career in 1988. I spent eight years in the financial services sector performing back office operations functions. At Oppenheimer, I moved into an IT role which lead me to expanding leadership roles with Business Process Outsourcers (BPOs).

In 2006, I took my operational performance skills to the telecom industry where I turned two struggling sales channels around. I was then recruited by a training/learning provider to develop an outsourced service model for training administration. Currently, I am driving process improvements from the implementation side of a software development company.
